Barry Watts

INTERIM DIRECTOR

Barry A. Watts was born November 15, 1943, in Payette, Idaho. He lives in Boise, Idaho, with his wife Bonnie. They were married in 1965. They have two children and seven grandchildren.

After graduating from Boise High School, Barry earned his BA in Religion from Pepperdine University, his MA in Psychology from Eastern Washington University, and his Ph.D in Counseling Psychology from Columbia Pacific University.

Barry is a licensed professional counselor (LCPC) and a licensed professional clinical counselor (LCPCS) in the State of Idaho. He has held many professional memberships for counseling associations and board memberships over the years.

Barry's professional experience includes many years as the Executive Director of the Children's Home Society of Idaho and the Counselor/Director of Boise Valley Counseling Center. Barry's academic experience includes adjunct faculty positions with Boise State University, College of Idaho, University of Idaho, Northwest Nazarene University, and Idaho State University.
